The Mecca of all Thriftshops See Brooklyns largest resale store for yourself

Don't go in there, says a female shopper laughing guiltily as she clings tightly to two huge shopping bags. This is the generally feeling that comes from almost every shopper that has visited  the Unique Thriftshop on Fulton Street, Brooklyn. An experience I have yet to see come from consumers that shop at larger chain stores.

Most Unique shoppers including myself are in awe at the size of the store. Three  floors and a mezzanine of well organized shelves,  clothing racks and display cases. From the moment you enters the store you are greeted by a most courteous and pleasant staff who will assist you with opening the doors. Hello, good night  and get home safe are all part of the charm of shopping at the Unique store. The staff will help you with anything and everything that they can. It is great to see that level of customer service that is provided and one only hopes it remains that  way always.

There are many reasons to be excited about shopping at Unique not only do you find awesome items are reasonably priced  and the items are of good quality. Some are praticaly new.
The store also offers a discount card  and shoppers can receive 25% of on Thursdays and on some select major holidays 50% off. The only requirements is a zip code and an email address to receive updates of other store locations and upcoming sales. There may even be coupons that can be used to shop instore with no purchase necessary.

The best thing about the Unique Thrift shop is that not only are you getting a bargain, proceeds from  sales goes two two charities the Lupus Foundation and the Veterans Association. Speaking to staffer  Noel I asked what is the biggest misconception people have about thriftshops  he said, most people think the merchandise is old or not good which is not the case. Once a customer comes in and looks around they always find something to suit their need. And often will walk out with more thatn they intended to leave with and quite pleased with their purchases.

With one store in Brooklyn, one in the Bronx and another scheduled to be opened in the Gertz Mall on Jamaica Avenue one can only image the excitement from fellow shoppers  who will be discovering this gem for the first time. Most like myself will take the J train just to see what other kinds of items can be found at the new location as soon as it is open for business.
